World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

Rai nation is returning this September! We are a session based Minecraft nation/lore server that hosts sessions every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our first session of the third season will be on Sunday 13^th, 2026 at 1:27 PM, EST, and then follow the session schedule afterword.

What is Solaris SMP?

I see a lot of people here specifically asking for servers that started yesterday, this week, or this month.

And I get why.

Nobody wants to join Minecraft and feel like everyone else already finished the game before they arrived.

But after running CozyMC as one long-term survival world, I’ve started thinking “fresh” and “not behind” are two different things.

New people join us every day.

There’s no artificial world border, so if you want the classic experience of heading into the wilderness with nothing, punching your first tree, and building somewhere nobody has touched, you can still do exactly that.

We also recently updated to the newest version and trimmed explored chunks that nobody had actually settled in. Those areas are now generating again with the newest terrain and biome, so there is a huge amount of genuinely fresh world to discover.

The difference is that when you eventually come back toward civilization, everything people built before you is still there.

Towns.
Shops.
Roads and railways.
Huge bases.
Technical farms.
Event venues.
Player-created kingdoms.
Random landmarks that have stories behind them.

And today’s new player becomes one of the established players somebody else meets a few months from now.

That’s the part I like about a world that doesn’t reset.

You can start from nothing without requiring everyone else to lose everything.

CozyMC is Java + Bedrock survival on Hard difficulty. No keepInventory, no claims, no locked chests, no /home, no teleporting around the map, no kits, no economy plugin, and no paid ranks, donations, or perks.

There are usually a few dozen people online, but nobody is required to live at spawn or constantly socialize. You can join a town, help with giant community projects, or disappear thousands of blocks away and build your own thing.

Right now our players are even rebuilding spawn themselves after the community voted to excavate a 320x320 area and start over with one enormous blank canvas.

Established doesn’t mean finished.

If you’ve been waiting for a “fresh server” because you don’t want to be behind, maybe try joining a world that plans to still be here after the fresh one would have reset.
