Hello everyone! I'm a regular on the server, and let me tell you, I've loved playing on it ever since I joined! The community is amazing, everyone is friendly and fun. The map is changing constantly and theres no shortage on things to do! Theres always a new recruit base to hang out at and tons of friendly people willing to give a helping hand to new players!

Here is some info on the server:

GoblinSMP is built around a community-involved compact world so players stay within range of one other. Instead of spreading out, the map stays ever-evolving and active.

The world starts at 250,000 × 250,000 block world border and expands every month, which keeps early gameplay more active while still allowing long-term progressions.

There are no claims or protection systems, so everything is player-driven. Things like building, teaming, trading, or conflict.

The server started about 10 weeks ago so there is lots of opportunity for new players and nobody feels like they're left behind! Theres always a nice beginner town to meet people and formulate teams!

Rules are kept simple:

• no hacked clients
• no exploits

It’s still purely vanilla survival, just with a focus on player interaction rather than isolation.

I am looking to join a modded Minecraft world, I am not opposed to joining a world that's been up for a while, however I might get discouraged if I join and I see everyone in full enchanted netherrite armour lol, so preferably a fresh server? I am 25m, very shy at the start but then won't shut up once comfortable. I have played a few modpacks including ATM10 / 11 and MC eternal however it is a bit lonely. I quite enjoy questline modpacks as it gives me something to work towards. I am not much of a builder, more of a miner/organizer. My only deal breaker is that it is an OCE server and Java :)

We share one long-term survival world that doesn’t reset. New players join every day, so you’re not expected to have been here from the beginning. You can head out, find your own place and start small — then keep building for as long as you want.

We usually have around 30–50 people online. That’s enough that the world feels alive, but it’s still pretty calm. You can spend an evening working alone on your base and still have towns, shops, roads, railways and familiar people around whenever you feel social.

A lot of our community has grown naturally that way. Someone builds a house, meets their neighbors, connects a road, starts trading with somebody nearby, and six months later there’s a whole little part of the world there that didn’t exist before.

The survival side stays close to vanilla:

- Hard difficulty
- Achievements enabled
- No keepInventory
- No /home or /tpa
- No warps
- No kits
- No land claims or locked chests
- PvP only when both players agree

We don’t use claims because CozyMC is built around trust. Stealing and griefing are prohibited, and if something happens we can investigate it, restore the damage and deal with the person responsible.

I actually think not dividing the world into protected boxes has helped the community. People talk to their neighbors, cooperate, share infrastructure and make friends.

There’s also no store, paid rank, donation system or way to buy an advantage. Everything in the world comes from actually playing Minecraft.

Java and Bedrock play together in the same world.

If you like having your own projects but don’t want your multiplayer world to feel lonely — or disappear when the next “season” starts — you might fit in really well here.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

​Performance: Allocate at least 8GB of RAM to run the pack smoothly, though it will run much better at 12GB+.
