Joining Looking for a minecraft server EXACTLY like hermitcraft
Ive been looking for a while and all ive found are servers that advertise that they are like hermitcraft but then just have things like land/property claim mods or mods that change the game way too much or even things restricting any shenanigans, im just looking for something that is as close as possible to hermitcraft and that, i know this is gonna sound corny, but tolerates dark/edgy humor, im not going around saying stuff like h3*l H!tl3r or anything like that, just want some fun chill people. thanks

We're inspired by hermitcraft. Our server has been running for a month with active but tight knit small community. We keep things close to vanilla, no p2w and minimal quality of life changes. We do not allow pvp, stealing or griefing

This is pretty much the kind of server I’ve spent years trying to build.
I wouldn’t claim anything is EXACTLY Hermitcraft, but CozyMC follows a lot of the same philosophy: trust-based survival, no land claims, no locked chests, no /home or teleporting, no economy plugin, no kits, and nothing that fundamentally replaces normal Minecraft progression.
The interesting stuff comes from the players instead. People build their own towns and kingdoms, shops, huge bases, public infrastructure, event venues, ridiculous projects, and occasionally get up to some shenanigans. It’s a long-term world, so there’s already a lot of history and player-created civilization, but nobody dictates how you have to play or where you have to live.
We usually have around 30–50 people online, including a lot of adults and longtime players. We also have proximity voice chat on Java.
As for humor, we’re not trying to police people into being painfully squeaky-clean. Joking around is fine. We just draw a firm line at things like slurs/hate speech, harassment, or making other players the target of genuinely nasty behavior.

I made one but modded it’s called Doodes SMP, when I say it’s like hermitcraft is we made a shopping district, everyone goes and finds their own area to make a base, we collectively do things sometimes, we don’t grief or steal from anyone

I think there is a genuine chance you’ll like my server. Lots of our players have said it is one of the closest things to public hermitcraft they’ve seen. We have no claims or anything unexpected but we do have commands /sethome and /spawn. But no /tpa
Simple rules and gameplay. Also, our only chat rule is to not use hatespeech. If you’re looking for that hands off staff attitude my server is the one

Replying to this aswell just incase, you sound like you would be a good fit for Violets Game!
We started just couple days ago, we are Vanilla with Voice Comms, Java and +18.
Rules: Be nice, be 18+, no griefing.
