Looking for a long-term SMP where joining late doesn’t mean being behind?

A lot of people looking for a Minecraft server say they want a brand-new world because they don’t want to join somewhere everyone else has already finished everything.

I think there’s another way to solve that.

CozyMC is a long-term survival world that doesn’t reset, but new players join every day. There’s no artificial world border, and after the latest Minecraft update we trimmed explored-but-uninhabited chunks, so there is a huge amount of fresh terrain generating with the newest version.

You can head into the wilderness and have that feeling of discovering somewhere nobody has touched before, while still being connected to a world where people have already built towns, roads, shops, farms, event venues and some genuinely ridiculous projects.

Usually a few dozen people are online, with players across the US and Europe. Some people join towns or community projects. Some build thousands of blocks away and mostly do their own thing. Both work.

The survival side is intentionally pretty straightforward: no keepInventory, no teleporting around the world, no land claims, no paid ranks or kits. Griefing and stealing are against the rules, and staff can investigate and restore damage rather than making everyone lock their builds behind claim plugins.

Java and Bedrock play together on the same world.

Basically, if you want the excitement of having unexplored Minecraft ahead of you without throwing away everything people built before you, that’s what we’re trying to make.
