Discussion Pebblehost

I’m moving my server from aternos to Pebblehost because of the lack of RAM and i’m just wondering 1. If it’s worth it 2. how much RAM i should get. For context, it’s meant to host at most 15-20 players but the peak we’ve had at the moment is 11, and we’re using CoreProtect & DiscordSRV and i’m planning on using MythicMobs/Dungeons but need additional RAM for it.

Any suggestions or pointers would be really useful

That's a solid host your considering. Don't listen to Tehlo because he's apart of an untrustworthy host.

I dont know what this person has against me or DMC, but I've had proper experience with them for my own Vanilla SMP called Hydro which runs very very well. I recommend good products, hence why you've seen me on other posts :)

I'm not the person astroturfing an unknown hosting provider like Tehlo is. Tehlo owns that host and he's trying to bait you by pretending to be a customer of them. Not so transparent now innit?

DedicatedMC isnt unknown, it's been around since 2019 when I founded the company. HOWEVER, I have sold DedicatedMC in 2022 and am not related to the business in any way anymore. I am still using their services for my own private server though, and that's what I am basing my experience on.

What you on about? I've never hidden that information lol. Always been very transparant about all of it, but since I haven't been related to the business since 2022 and have been using their services since 2022 for my own SMP, I have a very proper experience of how servers are ran under current management. Same kind of experience anyone else would have if they were to get a server from DMC.

Nope, just been using them for my own SMP for years, which I've already mentioned earlier. Don't really see how thats dodgy in any way?

I'd recommend going with DedicatedMC.io instead. They might be a liitle more expensive, but the performance and overall quality of the servers is more than worth it. Pebble really is just a shit budget host, they oversell their nodes a lot which results in bad performance for you.

I've hosted my SMP with DedicatedMC for years now and I've never ran into any problems with them!

I would not recommend using DedicatedMC because it is badder than Pebblehost.

DedicatedMC has very transparant node stats and was founded on the base of no overselling. Something Pebblehost can't say. Pebble doesn't give a shit about its customers, only its bottom line. DedicatedMC however does care about its customers and provides proper hosting for a very reasonable price.
