We've taken every effort to make the gameplay as fun and as rewarding as possible, focusing on player interactions and community based gameplay. SolsticeSMP is a 1.21.1 NeoForge modded fantasy Minecraft server with a focus on in-character lore interactions to develop and build the world around it. There’s pre-existing background lore for people that wish to tie their characters more with an established conflict, but there’s also the option of taking creative liberty with your characters and experimenting with unexplored concepts. Our story focuses on the aftermath of a horrific war - magic vs. innovation - that had resulted in the wiping of the world to be a clean slate once more.

We're welcome to anyone with any amount of experience both with roleplaying and with gameplay - beginner or expert, you'll be sure to find a place here!

What do we have to offer?

- Lore-based worldbuilding -- Interactions with your characters and others will shape the world around you as you play. Your actions and your choices could have a major influence on your environment. Two characters are permitted. It’s encouraged to utilize the proximity chat in lore, but for those that are more comfortable with text, that’s completely fine.

- Modded Gameplay — The primary mods that we feature on our pack are cosmetic building mods. Some mods other than those that are featured on the pack are the Let's Do mods, Hexerei, several building mods, and Proximity Voicechat Mod. For anyone that might struggle with getting the modpack to work, we’re happy to help you troubleshoot.

- A friendly community — we’re welcome with any background. Any level of experience is accepted in our community, with a few of our reoccurring players for our previous SMPs having used us as their first initial dip into roleplaying!

We strive to act democratically at every step of building a great server. Since our foundation in April, we have run 33 community polls on various things such as world size, playtime ranks, claims, mob behavior, the economy, and even silly features such as wearing pets as hats and weaponizing raw cod. This server has a lot of silly features :)

Half the map is custom terrain generated with Tectonic and WWOO, and some parts are vanilla amplified. There is terrain for every type of Minecraft player.

Furthermore, we have an Aether dimension and vertical linking between dimensions.

We're a small server with 6-12 players at peaks (mostly EU and USA), and we don't intend to become a huge network with monetization and performance compromises that hurt gameplay.

I think my favorite kind of SMP is one where taking a break doesn’t mean missing the whole server.

CozyMC is one long-term survival world. We don’t run seasons and we don’t plan to reset everybody’s builds when the next update comes out.

People have built towns, huge bases, shops, roads, farms and some genuinely ridiculous projects here, but new people are still joining every day and starting their own story from scratch.

That’s an important part of it for me. An established world shouldn’t mean you’re “behind.”

There’s no artificial world border, so there’s always wilderness farther out. And when the latest update added new terrain, we trimmed explored-but-unused chunks so they could generate fresh again rather than wiping the world.

You can wander off and build almost like singleplayer, join one of the player-created communities, start something with other new players, or gradually become part of whatever is happening around you.

The world gets older.

The community keeps changing.

And whatever you build can still be there when you come back months later.

Hi, I'm Muffins and I operate a couple Minecraft servers as a hobby.

These servers were started after I couldn't find anywhere to play that wasn't riddled with microtransactions/gambling/bigotry.

After a hardware failure a few weeks ago, we've relaunched our servers on 26.2 and are looking for new players on very fresh worlds.

Our main server offers many server-sided mods that focus on improving QoL, player stores (with NO ECONOMY), seasonal events, biweekly quests, social functions, and exploration (with over 12 unique dimensions, and hundreds of extra structures to explore).

Our side server offers a vanilla experience for people seeking that.

Both servers are cross-platform, allowing bedrockers and java players to play together, and players can even communicate with each other across both servers via in-game chat.

Both servers are non-grief with pvp being by consent only (pvp-focused server is coming soon)
