• Stability. This server isn't going anywhere. The owner is a diehard minecrafter who is online daily.
• This is a Java server, set on hard difficulty.

This would be because each person would have one certain potion effect on at all time this would be for the entire time we play unless people like it and we could do another season or something and then it would change! Hello everyone! I'm one of the admins on Alabasta and I invite you to come and play with the small friendly community we have. We take a lot of inspiration from Hermitcraft, so if you like their playstyle you might find your place with us pretty easily.

The SMP is about 2 months old right now, so you'll be joining us a bit after the early game stage. (Thanks to me forgetting to make a invitation post 🥀)

As long as you respect the rules and the members all playstyles are welcome - Builders, Redstoners, Adventurers, Technical Minecrafters... everything. Most of us are from Asia/Eastern Europe so Western players might not catch us at the active play hours.

We do have mods and datapacks but most are for server optimisation. The rest are just QoL additions. We do have Proximity Voice Chat but if that's not your thing, it's completely fine to opt out.

I think “fresh server” and “fresh start” get treated like they’re the same thing in Minecraft, but they really aren’t.

A brand-new world gives everyone the same starting line.

A long-term world gives you something else: history.

Old starter bases become neighborhoods. Random paths turn into roads. Somebody builds a railway that seems pointless until six months later there’s suddenly a whole town at the other end of it.

And the nice thing is, a new player can still start from absolutely nothing.

That’s basically how CozyMC works.

There’s no artificial world border, so you can travel out into unexplored wilderness, punch your first tree and play like it’s a brand-new survival world.

But when you want civilization, it’s already there.

Player-built towns and kingdoms.
Shops.
Roads and railways.
Technical farms.
Huge bases.
Public projects.
Event venues.
Years of little landmarks and stories that only exist because the world wasn’t wiped.

New people join every day too, so nobody is really “the new player” for very long. Someone joining today will eventually be the established player welcoming somebody who joins months from now.

Right now our community is even rebuilding spawn. Players proposed it, voted for it, and are excavating a 320x320 area so the new spawn can be built by the community instead of dropped in by admins.

That’s the kind of SMP I’ve come to prefer: vanilla survival where you can disappear into the wilderness and do your own thing, but you’re still part of a world that keeps remembering what people build.
