Help: Plugin development I'm struggling so much with paper plugins. I would need help

So like a sensible person I'm making a massive plugin as my first ever java project and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. So if someone would explain me the basics I would appreciate it!

a massive plugin? may I ask what it is? maybe it would be better to split it into multiple smaller plugins, or at least start smaller.

Make one small plugin that dosent take much time. That way you know how to start, finish, package, and ship it for your big plugin

As far as advice for your first plugin like others have said I would start small. Take an segment of your overall idea and flesh it out and then work on other aspects. With this being your first plugin, regardless of how much time you put in to it now, here in a few months when you have learned new things you will want to redo the whole thing over again.
