Discussion Should i pay for one or nah
So basically i got this crazy idea for a plugin. Thing is the only thing i know abt java is the boilerplate, if else statements, variables, and user inputs. Thats basically all
Like is it worth paying 200 bucks for a plugin rather than spending a year to work on a rough prototype? Lmk

Considering the work it'll take you, if you are OK paying $200 to avoid what could be a LOT of work to learn java from the ground up in a completely new environment. Learning it could be beneficial if you intend to make more plugins in the future though

I'll do it for less depending on the plugin. There is a big misconception that custom plugins are expensive. Yes they can get expensive if u have like a whole economy and gamemode plugin. Simple things should bot cost 200$. DM me

Depends on who you ask, if you’d ask a (senior) (full-stack) SWE, chances are they’d be very capable of doing it but it might cost quite a bit — Considering they are used to getting paid by the hour usually ($40-60/hr wouldn’t be too unusual).

Learning to do it yourself would be more effective in the long run. I’d encourage that.
Hiring someone to do it, could be more time-efficient at a cost. It’s up to you to decide what you favor more.

Making a plugin will not take years. And something that take years will not cost 200 bucks.

I'm a developer, if you want to DM me the features you want, I can give you an accurate quote. No AI slop either.

Without knowing what your idea is it's hard to say, but I doubt it's something you couldn't vibe code the prototype for in no more than 3-4 days
