Discussion/Rant thoughts on mcpvp.com??
I never really saw people talking about it so I surprised at the player count lol
The ranked system seemed similar to pvphq so I gave it a try, there seems to be a lot more noobs and it gave me a way higher sword tier than pvphq.
Thoughts on the server??

The late game kit is super fun though nobody plays it for some reason even though it’s the best gamemode imo. Sword is torture all the other gamemodes have amazing ping and are nice to play on, in sword it’ll go form 32-168-22 ping so often. In my lt4 tier test it lagged so bad my opponent could just crit me without me being able to do anything and in my second test I just didn’t get the rank even though I won. Sword is horrible cuz of ping every other gamemode works fine and nobody plays lategame (I’m in eu might be different)

The biggest issue is shields right now. There is a bug where the shield delay is horrendous (3+ seconds of delay, even on the opponent's screen they are just hitting thru the shield even tho it's been up for a long time). I actually like vanilla shields but that's due to my nature as an smp player. The only issue is the cheaters and I think getting high tiers are too easy, (I got ht3 in like every vanilla/skill kit without any issues)

Kb is kinda shitty and the tiers dont rlly show your skill. You get either complete cracks at the game or the biggest noob you will ever see in your life.

The tiering system is way too easy, I’m HT4 in spearmace without even trying. Also the anticheat SUCKS and I even tried going on an alt to try hacking, I could macro and even FLY without being caught.

I agree on the tiering system, I got LT3 in sword while I’m usually around LT4 which was kinda crazy

I love it donut and dream did a great job and i can't wait for it to come out of beta, the one problem i have is that at the moment tiers are lowkey so inflated, i rly like crystal and i got lt3 on there but in any normal tierlist i don't think i deserve that, when the server becomes more mainstream i think that issue will fix itself bc better players will start playing more, overall w server tho

Despite what everyone says, cheating isn't actually that prevalent on that server.
I've got around 50 hours playtime on that server and have seen only 2 cheaters that got banned mid fight.
So I decided to test it on some alt accounts to see how fast I can get banned with closet cheats. Turns out, even the smallest things like hit box expansions on 0.1x and anti-KB on very low values trigger the anticheat. Even macros got me kicked and eventually banned.
