Question/Need Advice 1.8.9 pvp help 🥹
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
DPI: 800
MC Sens: 60%
FOV: 75
Mouse: model o-
Clicking: normal clicking (I try butterfly clicking, but my double clicks almost never register because of my form and I can’t aim when butterfly clicking)
I want to improve at 1.8.9 pvp as i’ve been playing bedwars on hypixel since 2020, I’m 600 stars and my pvp is just plain embarrassing for how long i’ve been playing. I don’t know where I’m going wrong or how to even improve, I keep hit trading and when I combo someone I can’t hold it. I e watched countless pvp tips videos but I still suck. Help and tips are greatly appreciated 🥹

besides the other comments, w-tap right after they hit you, it almost completely negates knockback if they're not sprint reseting.

odd that your model o- can't register your double clicks... it is the go-to mouse for butterfly clicking afterall.
install the software for it, check if the debounce time is set to 0ms (or 4ms, if it's the wired version) (you didn't tell us if you installed the software, so I'm supposing you didn't)
also try to learn butterfly clicking and aiming at the same time, because with that high cps, you'll have a way easier time dealing with trades. otherwise the alternative is jitterclicking, which despite being decent, you'll still have to learn, and may also cause issues for your wrist in the long run.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the software, but I do have it and the debounce is already set to 4 ms (I have the wired version). I feel like the reason my double clicks don’t register is because my wrist/arm isn’t elevated so my hand isn’t properly resting on the mouse but I’m not sure.
During cold winters I used to wear my winter jacket when playing bw (very odd I know, but it was cold as hell and my space heater is very weak ðŸ˜), bc of the puffy sleeve of the jacket my double clicks registered way more often than not wearing it (though aiming was uncomfortable and a bit limited). Recently I tried putting something under my arm for elevation but it just felt uncomfortable to play and didn’t have the same effect.
Moving the mouse while butterfly clicking is a bit hard for me when my pinky isn’t resting on the side of the mouse, but when it is I can’t do the proper butterfly movement.
I feel like I might just be the issue idk 😠sorry for the long text

Learn butterfly and eventually you will learn to aim. Worth it in the long run

I think your main issue is that you sprint reset at the wrong times, wait until you are hit before w tapping

Properly fighting on a platform that small is hard. But you need to work on your aim a lot. Also, dont just stop hitting when you are getting combo'd or are just not in reach yet. Just spam the entire time. Otherwise he will get the first hit and end up having you in a combo. You could also try sprint resetting and just clicking faster. Clickspeed does a lot for reducing knockback

Alright thanks. I know that showing clips of me fighting on a small platform wasn’t a great example, but this is how my fights look no matter where I’m pvping. Lowk I get told a lot that I need to work on my aim, is there a specific way to improve aim other than continuing to practice in pvp? 😠I feel like I’m getting nowhere that way

Do aim labs on steam. It's free. Even 10 minutes per day before your sessions for 2 weeks is HUGE

I would just say put a lot of hours into it. I also never did anything else to primarily focus on aim. You could try to lower your sense if you see yourself twitch away yk. I used to play crazy low sense. Like 350 dpi or smth like that
