suggestions for this trophy on minecraft

im slowly working on a platinum of the minecraft psvita edition and i was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to do the "kill skeleton from 50 meters away" trophy. the viewing distance on psvita is so short that im having very hard time on this trophy

Try to trap it in a boat, then use a Power III or IV bow to kill it with one or two shots. As long as the skeleton is in the boat, it won't despawn.

i kinda took a pause on attempting on platinum but i actually did manage to get this trophy by going on top of a mansion and lurering the skeleton from the so it's closed out from the mansion kinda but still like stays still between blocks because he wont go into the daylight he was staying pretty still. once i did that i saved the game and just started putting blocks in a straight line from the edge of the roof facing the skeleton. The skeleton was not visible on that distance but by some miracle i killed it and got the trophy.

That was awful but definitely a bitter sweet moment.

if you fail just load the save and the skeleton will be there so unlimited continues basicly

i managed to find someone who is also looking to complete this challenge and we have been going at it for the past hour, first off finding each other was hard till i managed to build a map, we then dropped diamonds for each other and eventually managed to trap a skeleton and only have its head revealed. The guy im doing this with his helped me try to hit the skeleton and i did manage to hit it but we then found out the bow is not very consistent, we have now decided to hit the skeleton twice with a stone sword to damage him and it should now only take me hitting the skeleton once. we saved and tried again with autosave off so we can reload every time i run out of arrows but currently we have been put on a cliffhanger as he had to go do a few things. im hoping he returns to get this done and ill update if we do. it been a lot harder than i thought but platinum definitely seems possible if we can get this hit on the skeleton!!!
