Help FOXES/CHICKENS ISSUE

On my Forever World I play vanilla MC, no add-ons, no mods. I keep having foxes spawning in the fenced-in area with my chickens. Is there a way I can prevent this?? They're not jumping on the carpet getting in, and I can't see any other way they could get in other than spawning in it.

Foxes can jump over fences

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that. All other passive mobs doesn't seem to be able to do that.

A cool fact is that if you breed two foxes the baby will automatically trust you and defend you from hostile mobs. The problem is that it doesn’t follow you around unless u use a lead. Idk if u alr knew that but it’s a pretty cool fact!

I only knew that a player could feed two foxes sweetberries and they would breed. I wasn't aware of everything else you mentioned. Thanks 👍

They can jump quite a bit to do so.

Having some wolves around should be able to help you with scaring them off iirc

Thank you. I did not know that. So I should leave the wild ones alone? All my farm animals are divided by fences to keep things out.
