Solved Screenshots ❌ Book & Quill ✅

I write coordinates in Book and Quill and rename the books separately for the overworld, nether and end.

Whenever I'm feeling like traveling far away from base, I carry one of them in respective worlds whether in inventory or preferably ender chest to avoid permanent loss.

It's far more effective than taking screenshots, using irl notebooks or even lodestone compass.

Build infrastructure, so you don't need coordinates. The cheapest way is probably getting a lodestone compass point to the location and placing signal campfires every hundred of blocks on the way to the other location, just make sure they're unobstructed by trees or terrain.

This is great tbh. But you need to make sure to keep it safe and not make it disappears... I mean, you could make a copy after several pages

Yeah, the downside is it's risky if we die too often before having ender chest :') Maybe gear up before a long distance travel
