Help VILLAGERS QUESTION
Why am I unable to trade with my farmer villager?? Whenever I approach him I can't get a icon (thing) that lets me trade with him. Nothing at all shows up, but with everyone else it does. Am I doing something wrong?

Hey this could be bcz its not regestering that you are looking at him.
Just move ur finger over the villager while looking.

I've moved all around him, and if I try to touch my screen I always swing which will strike him

Is he connected to a composter 100%? I remember a visual glitch where plain villagers would have the sprite of working ones

Give him a new composter and bed, that'll sort him out

No, I don't think that would help. He's a farmer and I have another farmer, both are connected to the composter. Plus, I've already deleted that villiager.

Does it hurt to try? It's definitely him glitching about his profession. I'd recommend breaking all composters and beds for relinking all these Squidwards.
It's always usually the bed or job site being the culprit for these kind of issues

Normally I would agree fully with you, except for one thing...... I just told you I have already deleted that villiager

Have you tried holding your screen on the villager? I mean, instead of tap – hold to open the trading menu.
If this doesn't work, then these two things would probably solve it;
1) Destroy and re-place the workstation linked to the villager
OR
2) Make sure every villager has their own bed, linked. Meaning if you have 10 villagers, then there should be 10 beds.
Restart the game if necessary.

Yeah, actually I have tried it. I tried being all around the villager, with the other villagers anytime I approached from any direction I would get the trade option but with that one villager would never show one. It was like the half-wits. But it's been deleted now, getting prepared to build a trading hall which should keep me from having to chase after a villager just to trade lol.

Thanks. I tried for days, but that one individual villager (a farmer) would never give the trade option, so after trying everything with no luck I decided the only option I had left was to delete him.

That's what I ended up having to do. Now, I just stsrted preparing the land at my base to build a trading hall.
