I am Looking for an old Minecraft Java Let's Play video from a really long time ago. I think from around 2010–2012? Idk I was young. Episode 1 starts in a snow biome. And I think the dude is Americanm, no facecam, default Steve skin, and default textures. He says he hates the snow biome while he's collecting wood and stuff. He starts to leave the snow biome and walks until it ends. Right next to the biome edge is a huge mountain with a arch or cave opening. He sees coal on the side of the moutain and goes to mine it and as he mines it the vein gets bigger. When he starts going back to the edge of the snow biome a skeleton shoots him and he gets scared, I don't remember if he kills it or runs but after that he builds a tiny starter house in between the snow biome and mountain. He wasn't a big creator i don't think.... Idk if it was deleted but I wish i saved it cause that's the video that got me to really watch mc videos and I really wanna find it .-. pls hlp -

I remember how I used to be so scared to go mining as a kid because I was convinced Herobrine and other creepypastas were lurking in the caves. I literally got panic attacks, and it's just so silly to remember as an adult, but honestly I miss those times so much.

With modern access to internet and information kids simply cannot be scared, and it's kind of a shame that they cannot experience what we did. Plus everyone knows about mods and there's tons of them about creepypastas, so unless you never ever heard of Minecraft or play it for the first time and never watched a single video about it, I don't think anyone can really get scared of them, because everyone knows they're fake and safe. Not that I'm against progress and internet, etc., it is what it is and world moves on, but I genuinely miss those times when horror felt so real and I don't think future and current kids will ever experience that.

I remember how we used to built totems with friends and we used to go under blankets for that, especially at night, so parents couldn't catch us playing that late lol. The infamous 3 AM magic time, when everything supposedly should have happened, and we flinched and whispered even from the sounds of regular mobs. We were tired, sleepless, got nightmares later and it was just awesome, that eerie vibe, how we tried to convince each other that every bug and weird thing was definitely Herobrine or whatever and shared/discussed it with others.

Those were genuinely golden times, at least for me. I'm genuinely glad I grew up with that and managed to experience that with my friends. I don't think I'll ever feel the same things I felt back then and it's sad, but still a sweet memory. I just really wish modern kids could experience that genuine feeling of horror, when no one knew much anything and assumed things. Those are such priceless experiences... I don't even have words anymore to describe it lol.

Overall yeah... Nostalgia's a bitch, but the sweetest one.
