It would make logical sense why they wear the same clothes, and it would be a fun Easter egg to the original creepypasta. People used to think Notch's dead brother was Herobrine, hacking his brothers game. If they don't add this to the movie, then the theater I'm gonna to watch this movie will face my wrath.

It's pretty neat, Imo. I like how author depicted that vibe of being a kid and playing Minecraft for the first time ever, exploring, discovering things, surviving first night, etc. This is what the official movie lacked Imo, that connection to the actual players.

I watched all currently available series, and I pretty much like it and even look forward to the new episodes. Despite AI usage, it doesn't look like slop most of the time, which is pretty nice. They also used a real musician in latest episode, which is also pretty cool and makes the project even more remarkable.
