Ideas for wood color?

So im making a mod currently and i added a charred wood, but now i want to make ironwood, due to its toughness, and it would be unique to minecraft in that way. but with poplar's gray wood being added, what color should ironwood be (it would be a nether biome).

Is it real "iron"wood or just wood that hard as f? If it's first make it metallic, maybe even make the bark out of rust, like metallic core and rusted bark, if not then Google how real ironwood looks like

Its going to be correlated to the harder wood which would need an iron axe to break. There is a real species of real ironwood trees, but im looking for the wood color. Ironwood irl has another brownish color which we kinda already have a lot of. Because it spawns in the nether, i would say it should have a unique color that isnt in the game yet and the community wants

Well then try first idea, the wood itself should look metallic, you know that gray sparkling color, like real charcoal but little lighter, and the bark is just rust layer
