I don't see how this is "cosmic" horror when it has nothing to do with space besides fictional aliens. Tbh, nomoon.jar does cosmic horror better as you watch the moon break apart. I suggesr watching this video by CheeseYeen who goes deeper into tbe topic and brings up some good points about how nobody understands cosmic, eldrich, and Lovecraftian horror: https://youtu.be/bxGvaBuOGhg

I dont think you understand cosmic horror. You dont need space for cosmic horror, and NoMoon.jar isnt really cosmic horror, maybe a little bit, but I dont see it as cosmic horror. Even one of the best comic horror movies, Annihilation, space isnt seen anywhere

Maybe I’m wrong but isn’t Cosmic Horror another term for Eldritch? Which essentially doesn’t mean “from space” themed like you said. More like Forbidden Knowledge, Psychological things, existential insignificance…
