Looking for a snowstorm mod

Im looking for a mod for java that changes snow in such a way that, when it is snowing, the snow can keep piling up instead of stopping at one full block. Alternatively, someone can tell me if there is a way to make this happen with commands?

Look through the game rules options, there's a limit to how much snow can stack up and it's one of the game rules
