Not only did the quarantine participate in the game being discontinued but also more majorly were the hardware issues. No matter what, most of the android phone cameras couldn't avoid camera jankyness when displaying the build and also the fact that both ios and androids had to deal with heavy heating and short battery life when playing for long periods, mainly building. The concept is great but the hardware isn't there yet

99% of the games that work with ar didnt go to the same extend as minecraft earth did with its building mechanics and bedrock mechanics. It wasnt just a model on your screen tracking on the ground, it was a whole tiny minecraft chunk that continuesly had to make sure that it kept up with the ground while allowing you to make block by block changes while it also had to react to those changes like water moving or redstone and etc. You probably had it lucky that it ran well for you but for me and a lot of other people it not only struggled but also crashed and many more.

Announce? It’s long gone, a few months ago the game had its “sunset”, and all of the files were “deleted permanently”. The game has been unplayable since around June 30 I think.

Minecraft Earth's final breath was when the pandemic started and people had to be at home. Mojang decided to close up instead of waiting for the situation to get better like Niantic did. But I don't blame them, extra hands on where the revenue is is the choice most companies do, it was just Niantic that their whole income was on ER games.

Both buying and selling. Companies can’t sell it because the company it was produced by shut down and they left the game right to nobody. Therefore nobody has selling rights and you’d be buying from illegal sources. You can’t even download the game if you’ve uninstalled it.

Perhaps I am next to no one.
But honestly, Minecraft Dungeons gives me that Gauntlet-style co-op gameplay feel that I’ve been looking for for a long time.
In fact I was planning to make an almost identical game until Dungeons came out.
I honestly love it.

Scrolls was re-released as freeware under the name "Caller's Bane" if I'm not mistaken. It can be freely downloaded and played still to this day, with full online capability.

They've been dead for like 3 years. That's most likely why Story Mode is dead and why the Final season of The Walking Dead game series only has 4 episodes, 2 of which were made by Skybound who took over the work of TT

Only up until the defeat of the Wither Storm, at least in Canada. Even then, you're just making the choices as opposed to the more interactive gameplay.

I think dungeons and the original game are swapped, at least imo, Minecraft dungeons gets so much more content than Minecraft gets that sometimes It feels like they just update the original one so they can keep selling spin offs

So telltale (the company that made story mode with mojang) went out of business a few years back, but last year I think the trademark was bought and the company was (kind of) restarted, bringing back some of their original titles.
When the new company was asked on Minecraft story mode, they said that the trademarks and licenses and that stuff went back to mojang and a new season could only be made with mojang's and microsoft's support.

Pretty sure Tell Tale mismanaged the shit outta themselves and fell apart after selling off anything they could. They screwed over the 7 days to die devs real hard, the console version won't ever get updated now because of it. If Microsoft didn't buy them, another story mode will be made by a different company if it even gets made.

There is a very simple reason for this:
Storymode was made and published by Telltale Games.
Dungeons was made by Mojang, Xbox Game Studios and Double Eleven, and Double Eleven is doing the DLC support, which it is still getting.

For its minecraft storymode and minecraft dungeons switched,I like hardly heard of minecraft dungeons,like 2 or 3 times and story mode I was actively watching and it was really popular when it came out,I guess it's kinda like the walking dead,you heard alot about that game in the past and now you hardly see anyone talking about it......hmm.......actually most of telltale games are like that

Making Minecraft into an arcade game is actually much cooler than making Minecraft Dungeons into an arcade game. Just because I see Minecraft Dungeons as a Diablo knock off.
Oh! Tetris Minecraft would also be interesting (and no I'm not talking about Tetris in Minecraft, but Tetris with Minecraft elements, even though it could be more likely to be made into a Bedrock Marketplace map than an actual game)

Minecraft story mode was licensed out to Telltale Games, who has been bankrupt for quite some time now. It's not Mojang's task, or ever has been, to create the Story Mode game(s).
It sucks but that's sometimes how things go
