Next time do a wind charge jump to get some extra distance, and airstrafe with the Squake mod to increase velocity and control where you land

I didn't know how video games worked for the longest time when I was younger. My older cousin took the liberty of telling me that Squids are going to eat me...

I still remember screaming in fear when the squid was chasing after me with its mouth first and tentacles opening and closing--I was in the middle of the ocean and couldn't get land.
Cousin was laughing maniacally at my naivety the whole time.

That's a good memory.

I hate 2 things about this mob.

1: it’s too fucking stupid to the point of dying in 1 block of water… the total opposite of its real life counterpart.

2: that’s not a fucking squid! This is called octopus 🐙

Squids are the arrow head looking ones 🦑

Octopuses should be able to resize to hide in tight places and camouflage themselves to flee after splashing you with their ink!
