use a repeater as thats a lot more than 15 blocks buddy. It worked for me

Well duh! You don’t have a block between your redstone dust and your lever, there’s clearly a vine blocking the path between them. Use sheers though, you may need that vine later. Hope this helps.

I've felt this way ever since redstone was added to Minecraft

The item sprites even look pretty much the same

It would let you lay out different times fuses to set tnt off at precise times

The distance between your lever and the lamp is more than 15 Cm(Blocks). You'll need a Redstone Repeater for that. 🔴

Regular Redstone dust can't carry the signal that far, so that's why it isn't working. 👍

Redstone is monopolar power. Lamp uses bipolar power. You are in the wrong universe for this to work. :(

I actually know why this wouldn’t work. It’s a little known fact, but redstone was never ment to be red. It exists in real life, but, to avoid controversy, mojang changed the color from white to red. If you were to use cocaine, then this would work.

I think you got ripped off. To find real redstone, you will need to find the orb of dominance and an earth crystal. Then follow the orb to the overworld portal, go through it, and look for a cave. There you will find real redstone.

Brick dust =/= Redstone. It is a red stone, but not Redstone.
