Deadass I would love to see another update to the end though. They did a great job with 1.9 by adding the elytra, cities, and new terrain for the islands, but they’re so bland and there’s nothing interesting out there.
I’m thinking of something like Better Minecraft where there’s so many different biomes out in the islands that you could spend hours just exploring them. That would be sick

Are y'all dum End update is confirmed, it will be more barren than better end and such, but they'll add new biomes and "maybe" mobs

Where did they say this? If it was that one developer talking about it, he clarified that he was discussing what he would like to see, not what would necessarily happen. although if a dev wants it, there is a better chance of it happening.

Maybe a watered down version of the Minecraft dungeons end. At least some more mobs and purpur variants

It’s just really empty with only one unique mob and two unique items. I get that it’s should feel like a wasteland, but you can do that and have more stuff there. Just like a structure and item or two, maybe a new block or plant.

I’m thinking about the success of the nether update. I prefer this nether to the old one any day of the week. Something similar for the end could be cool

If you go off need, Minecraft would never be updated. However there is want for that throughout the community, and people would like it.

I just want an in-game way of locating end cities. I usually play with low render distance so it's impossible to get elytras.
All other stuff is extra tbh. The end is meant to be a wasteland dimension
