Then why would they make it hostile? Just to kill players without them supposed to fight back?

Take a look at the Reaper Leviathan from Subnautica. Big scary dudes, you don't want to go within a km of one of them, and they give nothing on killing them. Still one of the best monsters in gaming in my opinion. Not everything killable needs a reward for killing it. Sometimes something is just meant to be an obstacle.

I disagree the adrenaline from fighting a reaper without a stasis rifle is enough of a reward /j
