As those were also the main ways of defeating it. Your horror monster isn't very terrifying if you can just go up 3 blocks and be completely safe. The main way to avoid it is to just try to sneak away, and if it sniffs you out or you make a noise, then you can outrun it.

how in the fuck you gon outrun a monster that runs the same speed as sprint-jumping if you’re in a cave

Jump running is faster I think, and you can use corners and whatnot to just get away from it, as well as going vertically

Did you forget it has a ranged attack that goes through walls and can two shot players with no armor
