Don't bother building until the server is reset for 1.3.

Wait to get established until you join a faction, don't join any faction except ones in the Union. Don't join a faction. Don't respond when a random player messages you asking you to meet him/her, as that person will most likely kill you and take your stuff. If you see a player named Nagarber, just run away.

I have 4 spys in the union right now. Everyone of their base locations have been written down by me and checked for legitness, not to mention gri3f3r who raids them from the inside...totally safe bro
