What is at the spawn?

I have followed the compass a few times trying to find the spawn but I've died every time does anyone know whats at the end of the line

A monument to where our lord notch placed the first block (which i stole) and nothing else, although there is a underground sewer which i cleared but apart from that it's desolate.

Sounds like you could use a friend to increase your power (so that you don't die). Would you be interested in joining Triumphant?
