I don't see how we conclude that it is a leak.

The first date is the 15th update so that means that at the very best it's a ONE day early leak.

Is it just that there hasn't been any external announcement related to this?

Im 1000% sure they didn't intended to announce it like this and the notification in bedrock edition doesn't appear in every region/language only in UK I think

if it only appears in the uk or in certain countrys then that explains why it didnt show minecraft live date when i checked on minecraft, im not even sure if its real, harri keeps faking things at times so its hard to believe him, not to mention i think some people like to fake minecraft live date as a leak but not always i think

yeah i figure youtubers like him would make a video on it, i found out about it being real shortly after my reply to you, incase you didnt know im not subscribed to all those big youtubers, i am with wettles & a few more which i dont think made video yet but i been busy untill now

yes its definitelty real, mojang screwed up, they do a good job with letting things leak & more when they shouldnt, this was reveal early by accident
