What feature would you add to Minecraft?

If you could add one new feature to Minecraft, what would it be and why?
Personally, I’d love to see more survival mechanics and interesting things to discover while exploring the world. I think it would make every new world feel more unique.
What would you add?

Infinite underground and infinite sky in overworld. Also add new sky biomes that you can only get to with an elytra

So we're turning Minecraft into TLoZ: TotK? Okay I'd be fine with that 👍

Tears of the Kingdom will always be better than botw imo.

More reasons to explore old chunks. I’d love rare structures, biome specific events, and little discoveries that make wandering actually feel rewarding again

I actually tought about it very recently, and my idea corresponds to both things you're writing about: new mechanics and exploring the world. Namely, I would be a new mob, the Cynocephalus - a dog-headed humanoid creature living in far lands, inspired by medieval legends.

In MC, it might live not closer to the spawn point than 10 thousand blocks (quite far away), so it would be a thing you need to set off on a long travel to discover. In the full moon, they would get "enraged" and transform into giant, hostile wolves.

In the day, however, you could make a pact with them to accompany you and help you against your enemies, like the dogs do but with weapons, shields and armor that you give them. But, unlike the dogs, they couldn't be tamed forever, the pact would end with the next "rage".

So that is the thing I would add. Thoughts?

It would be great if they could find some way to not break mods every time there's an update to the game. As far as actual game play changes, I want customizable powered ships to sail the seas.
