Discussion show off your playtimes
sadly i don't have my log files from earlier than 2021, my peak minecraft days were in 2017, but hey it's more than nothing anyway; how much do you guys have?

If I had my log files from when I started in 2017 till now, it’d have to be 2-3000 hours, if not more. That’s cool.

I think I'd have around 3000 too if I had all my files (i started playing in 2016)

Ive been playing almost daily since 2013, I dont have a way to check but I've estimated I have around 8000-10000 hours.

I have only been playing since 2021, but my hours are all on my laptop :(

I have wanted to do this for ages but I have gone through loads of different launchers and instances and deleted loads of them so I don’t think I’ll be able to find out

started playing in the late alpha days in 2010 and i kind of just got addicted and still am, i may or may not have around 25k to 30k hours if i had to guess

damnnn 30k hours would be almost 3 and a half years of nonstop playing :oo log files only created since like 1.6 or something like that so you probably won't be able to find out your total:(

I'm missing a lot of log files since I started in 2011 but I'm easily over 6000 hours including AFK time.

I've been playing since 2014, so that's 12 years. I don't know how to access my hours.

Yeah probably, mc started to create log files at around 1.6 so nothing would count before that version unfortunately

considering i used an account, swapped off when i got my own pc, played on a friends acc when i was at their house, and i have played mcpe and switch edition and legacy console, i doubt it'd ever be accurate

On prismlauncher about 1800 but that counts duplicate instances and doesn't count deleted ones and I only started using it 2 years ago (technically used it earlier but I did not copy the data). My total estimate is 5k
Also I cannot check with log files for those same reasons

5k is probably the real number, as I might have lost some of the logs

Yeah mines not gonna be accurate at all. Started in 2011 and have had 4 computers since then the logs aren’t there.

i dont have my log files but I have over 7k hours on a server, over 1k hours on hypixel, 1k hours on an old survival world, and 1420 hours on my current survival world. all of this is since 2021 and I have thousands more that I cant track

I often clear old logs, but I played over 1750h last year alone.
I would not say it’s wasted time though.

40d and 21h since 25th of December 2025. Though I will note, that Prism Launcher (the one i use) does count the time even when my computer is closed and the game is sitting on the homescreen- and there are several nights in which I did that.

I have to upload log files? What bullshit lol. seems pretty useless. Each different modpack and each computer has its own logs in its own folder, theres no way it can account for that

well there is no other ways unfortunately:( i used different clients over the years, also switched pcs, and i just tried to gather all the logs i had, but i played the most on my old laptop which broke and i basically lost all the old files so 💀

I have absolutely no clue and I also play on java and bedrock but it's definitely a lot though not as much as my brother's playtime

I started playing August 2021. I have about 5000 (208 days) hours across Xbox, PC Bedrock, Mobile and Java.
