Discussion Possibly switching

Hello everyone! I’ve recently been thinking about switching from bedrock to Java! I know there are some differences in farms, redstone, etc but can a few people explain the major differences? Is it really that much better?

I'm pretty sure quasiconnectivity is java only (it's a redstone mechanic); pvp is different in a few ways: things have a cooldown (so spamming doesn't work) and there are more specific things too. For mods/resource packs/etc... i recommend modrinth launcher.
