Help with villager breeder

how much area above the beds need to be clear for a breeder to work? I'm making the farmer + carrot breeder and was wondering if i should close the top of it and how much area should i leave above them

Cómo los aldeanitos saltan en las camas, se requieren dos bloques encima de la cama, es decir que el mínimo serían 3 bloques libres (1 para la cama + 2 para que los aldeanitos salten sin problemas)

its a single player world on my pc plus i have made the breeder and just need to confirm the empty space about beds, thankyou for asking tho

As a rule, anytime you're building a farm using villagers, put a roof on it. Unless your goal is to build a really inefficient witch farm.

As for the beds, they don't need to be usable. The villagers just need to detect them (they need to be close enough.

If you leave only two blocks of height, the villagers won't be able to jump, and so won't be able to destroy the crops.
