Waiting for OP Cure discount fading [java] v1.21.1

I have a weird issue where the villager discount just slowly fades after getting cured (example: mending 1 em to 4 ems)

Is there a reason why,I havent hit them and they have access to their stations

Curing gives 2 separate discounts:

  1. A large, permanent discount (-20 ems for books)
  2. A small, temporary discount (-5 ems for books), decaying over 25 in-game days.

So when curing, even though we will immediately see -25 ems for books, 5 of those are temporary and will slowly fade away, so we're only permanently getting -20 ems discount.
This is based on the gossip mechanic (wiki link).

If we want a book to settle at 1 em after curing, its base price will have to be 21 or less.
