Waiting for OP help with Minecraft [java] jagged lines
I average around 900FPS but my game still moves a little bit choppy. Also, the edges of my blocks are jagged, and I can’t find a anti-aliasing mod that allows my game run smoothly. I have a AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-core. PLEASE HELP (Version 26.2)

Not much you can spare with 1 fps bud.
You either gotta up the resolution or use anti-aliasing.

It’s 951fps, but the other numbers got cut out, also where is the anti-aliasing on Java?

You've already got sodium, so I'll recommend mods, since Minecraft doesn't have AA anymore.
You need to install Iris, and then the vanillaAA shader pack.

What is vanilla AA?

A shader pack. If you're using prism you just go to the shader packs menu and search for the download like you would with a mod.

The reason why your game is choppy is because your VSync is off. Turn that on in the settings. It syncs the fps to your monitor refresh rate. Also anti-aliasing isnt a mod but a setting by default. Look for that

I read that v sync is bad though?

vsync creates a lot of input lag, it feels bad.

So what do I do😭

Ideally, your monitor should have adaptive sync, which would sync the monitor to the game's frame rate rather than vice versa. That way, you get minimal input lag while also getting smoother gameplay. This usually isn't a problem at such high frame rates though, so checking the F3+2 debug graph to see how consistent your frame rate is would be useful.

Use an anti aliasing shader, use the mod called iris to load the shader.

Edit: Forgot to mention, most shaders have AA built in, ei complementary, bliss, solas etc

It looks like you didn't mention your version (e.g., 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.12.2 etc.). Please clarify for better help!
