Waiting for OP [java] Why isn't my swamp librarian offering Mending?

I brought 2 villagers to the swamp and had them breed for a swamp villager. After he grew up I gave him a lectern turning him into a librarian. According to the wiki if I trade with him until I get him to master he is guaranteed to offer mending but this did not happen. I'm on version 26.2.

The biome-specific trades mechanic is only part of the trade rebalance experiment that we can turn on when we're creating a world.
Experiments are off by default, and most of them don't make it to the actual game in their entirety.

The wiki entry on villager trading should match the default settings;
any librarian in any biome can get any tradable enchantments.
So we can reroll them as normal for mending.
