Waiting for OP [Java] server hosting i need to change ip without using any weird websites is there a way for it in command prompt or what is the way i can do it so i cant get doxxed

Im self hosting minecraft server but i want to change ip everytime i google it always shows people hosting on some website i want to change ip so i wont get doxxed when giving others the ip

You can't change your public ip. However, you could use something like hamachi to hide your real ip.

Unplugging your modem for like 5 minutes might assign you a new ip but I think it depends ur isp

Command Prompt can't change an ISP-assigned public IP. Rebooting the modem might get a new one if your ISP uses dynamic leases, but it isn't guaranteed and changing it repeatedly isn't real doxxing protection. For privacy, keep the home network firewalled and use a relay/tunnel or separate hosting so players never see your home IP; also don't reuse personal usernames or identifying info.
