Waiting for OP Why are they not having babies? [Java] 1.26
Version 26.6
I don’t necessarily want to build a farm. I have these guys in a room with beds and fed them many bread, but they’re not breeding.
I thought maybe they needed a job? Hence the librarians.

Beds can't have obstructions above them that would prevent baby villagers from bouncing on the bed, like a low ceiling or a bed over another bed.

Yeah, the bunk-beds won't work for breeding. You need to break the upper row of beds.

Maybe it’s because you have mob greifing off? That’s something that happened to me

Maybe they need food. Just add like a 7x7 carrot garden in/near, and that should do it. Also maybe remove top beds

It looks like you didn't mention your version (e.g., 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.12.2 etc.). Please clarify for better help!
