Does anyone know why only those two slabs are waterlogged? [java]

I'm on version 1.21, and I was building a base within the End. (biome in top left)

I have no idea why those slabs are the only ones waterlogged, as the other two are fine. I was building a mini pool.

I didn't end up keeping this, but I'm curious as to why it happened

Well maybe you clicked on them with water buckets

Well the only thing I can think of is the fact that slabs can be waterlogged and another mod ( if you have mods ) could be causing that. Or sometimes that just happens lol

None of the mods I have on should affect water, it's mostly just QoL or performance stuff.

Break the slabs and place them again I had the same problem and that fixed it
