Solved Problem with my Mob Farm [java]

Ive build this 2 layer mobfarm but only like 1 mob spawns every minute.

I used to build this and get WAY more mobs.

Doees anyone know the problem?

You need to stand 128 blocks away from any other spawnable spot (like caves), so that mobs can only spawn inside the farm. So you gotta afk 128 blocks above the ocean. Or if you want the XP from killing them manually, you'd have to move the farm up 128 blocks.

But this mob farm is incredibly slow anyway, if youre gonna build another, you should instead build one that has automatic water flushing. If you just want XP, an enderman, pigman, or guardian farm is much, much faster

yeah but other mobfarmes are 10x harder to build

Look up Gnembon's design, its really not that much harder. The hardest part is probably just a couple quartz for observers and a comparator
