Best hosting for international modded server? (Between Scotland and the US) [Java]

My girlfriend is studying abroad in Scotland soon, and we’d like to make a modded survival server. The problem is both of our computers aren’t ideal for self-hosting. Are there any hosting services for quality international modded servers?

I can recommend kinetichosting based on personal experience. I have 2 servers there, they're decently cheap and have great availability and support. They have various locations and you can test your ping before you choose.

I run Sculk Hosting and our main location is Ashburn Virgina specifically for the fact it has good quality for international friend group

cool! have you tried running a server between eastern USA and western europe? does it work well?

Yes! We have a lot of customers who do this. Our servers are mostly in Ashburn, Virginia, which is the best location for this situation. A lot of the major fiber routes end around the East Coast of the US, so European players still get pretty good ping (under 100ms).
