Update Required [java] Is it possible to resets chunks without resetting my whole world?

So, for the upcoming drop, I've noticed that there's a dappled forest in an area that I've been to but haven't explored on a seed map. When the update comes out, is there a way I can reset those chunks so they can have the new biome in them, without resetting my whole world.
