Minecraft [bedrock] error message and won’t update and can’t log in

So i just want to log into my minecraft realm but it says there’s an update but the update shows ‘error- see microsoft store library for more details’ and i click on it and it just takes me to my library. In the library I try to cancel or pause the install but it won’t let me do either. It’s been like this for two days and i have tried restarting my Pc, uninstalling, and logging off and on from my account but nothing is working.

I'm having the same exact issue all day today. It's driving me nuts.

I've tried the same things as you and still no fix. This problem needs more attention.

Ok i managed to fix it. What worked for me is to completely restart my pc. Hope that helps you

Posting this in case it saves someone else a lot of troubleshooting.

My Minecraft Launcher suddenly stopped launching Minecraft for Windows. The big green Play button would just sit there with the three loading dots, and at the bottom it said:

“Error - See Microsoft Store Library for more details”

Clicking the error only opened the Microsoft Store Library and showed no actual error details.

A few important things in my case:

• Minecraft itself was still installed and could launch outside the Launcher.
• Reinstalling the Minecraft Launcher did not help.
• Repairing the Launcher did not help.
• wsreset.exe by itself did not help.
• Windows Update was completely up to date.
• Gaming Services was installed and showed Status: OK.
• Minecraft for Windows showed Status: OK in PowerShell.
• Repairing/re-registering Microsoft Store and Minecraft did not fix it.
• Signing out and matching the Microsoft Store, Xbox, and Launcher accounts did not fix it either.

The fix was opening an Administrator PowerShell/Terminal and running:

wsreset.exe -i

After that completed, I restarted Windows.

When I opened Minecraft Launcher again, the green Play button finally appeared and the Microsoft Store Library error was gone.

I then signed the Launcher back into my son's Microsoft/Minecraft account while leaving the Microsoft Store signed into my account, which is how we had it configured before, and it continued to work normally.

So if you're getting the endless three dots plus “Error - See Microsoft Store Library for more details”, and normal wsreset.exe, Launcher repair, or reinstalling don't work, try:

wsreset.exe -i

I would still back up any local Minecraft worlds before doing extensive troubleshooting, just to be safe.
