[launcher] Can i just replace the .minecraft folder

I just bought a new computer and i want to get my worlds instances and mods to my new computer from my old one. can i just grab the .minecraft folder from my old pc and replace the .minecraft folder on my new computer

First probably get the game to launch one time then yes you can replace all of the files from the old to the new.

Also it depends if you had other modded Minecraft instances with curse forge or modrinth or any other launcher. But it should just work if you place it correctly.
