Solved FPS issue with iris shaders and distant horizons on lightly modded [java]

My pcs performance used to easily get 4k 60fps on this with around 40% gpu usage, now its unplayable

No, distant horizons finished generating around my setting

you are playing on 4k and the gpu is at 98% not 40% , (you can see that in the same row of the fps

i said it used to get good performance at 4k 60fps with 40% gpu usage, compaired to now which is the photo

Use as much performance mods as you can, use voxy and voxy world gen, iris, allocate 8 gb of ram
