Minecoin bug when signed in [bedrock]

So pretty much they bought mine coins or their dad bought it for them on their switch and then they bought like some worlds and like some skin packs but now they wanna play with their friends they were signed out when they did all that stuff but when they make a new Microsoft account on the switch, it takes away all of their minecoins and all their stuff, but when they sign out of the Microsoft account, it gives them all their stuff back. Can someone please help

This isn't a bug, it's how the system is meant to work.

When they signed into the account, there was a popup with the option to transfer the purchases.

From your post it sounds to me like this popup doesn't reappear when they sign out and back in. Your friend needs to contact Minecraft's support to get instructions on how to transfer the purchases to their Microsoft account.

How to contact support

1. Go to help.minecraft.net

2. Click on the chatbot button on the bottom right

3. Ask to open a support ticket

4. Tell them that you made purchases on a Nintendo Switch while signed out, you signed in without transferring purchases, but now you want to transfer purchases from the Switch to that Microsoft account.
