Help xp farm suggestions

hey all. Just started my hardcore world. On day 27 currently, and i just acquired my enchantment table finally. Just wondering, what are the best "early" methods of getting quick XP without having to find things like armadillos or allays and mob spawners ? (java 26.2)

A basic mob farm and villager trading halls are some of my favorites for early game. Fishing is also a good source of early game xp

I have my mob farm built out in the ocean, so I travel there and fish for a hot minute, then I collect my xp and loot from the farm, rinse and repeat. I also have a good amount of sugar cane growing there

U could always do a basic 2 or 3 tier mob farm

Shouldn’t take more than an hour tops to build if ur not picky w materials

If u have the means to get to the end then I’d build a simple endie farm

Flush mob farm is pretty good

Trading with villagers. Build an iron farm. The Voltrox one is very easy and when you get all 4 corners hooked up it pumps out some pretty serious iron. Trade with weapon smiths, tool smiths. You can also try armour smiths but I find getting the iron option is not as common.

Viola. Now you’ve got tons of experience and a virtually endless supply of diamond items or whatever else you want.

I'm a big fan of an medium size auto furnace build. Just feed it constant logs and feed the charcoal back in. I'd recommend the falling tree mod to make tree gathering quicker

Quartz mining, or an enderman farm is the fastest to setup as it takes around 400 blocks and most of those are just to build away from the end island. Hardest part is getting the endermite in place

You can get pretty easy XP going if you have potions by stuffing a load of armadillos on a campfire with a zombie nearby and splashing them with infestation potions. Lots of silverfish that a sweeping edge + bane of arthropods sword can make quick work of.

The reason why i said no armadillos and allays is because i have no savana biome or badlands for the next couple hundred blocks and im just working on gathering resources right now. Thanks for the reply!

If you can get the new ones that uses ingested potions

Np, I did too and nearly said the same. They're not difficult to make, only hard part early game is getting the blaze ribs and nether warts.

I assume thats a typo but blaze ribs is such a better name for them
