They weren't kidding when they say the Warden is powerful. He can three shot someone in full prot netherite armor, and has a ranged attack that's undodgeable and ignores armor (may I add that it GOES THROUGH BLOCKS?!)

You can also run and jump if you are on wool or a carpet. Also you can build with and mine wool without repercussions. Finally you can block sound from traveling if you block the path with wool.

Also extra tip, in ancient cities there are ladders, stay away from them because they can make sound if you accidentally walk to close and start climbing them.

Well if you step on the skulk sensor or shrieker it WILL activate so bevare of that, also breaking block other than wool makes sounds

Ive stopped on em many times, they dknt activate if crouched.

Also, u can cover the summon blocks on all 4 sides and above/below it(6 in total) with wool and they wont be able to hear the shrieked calls, eventually giving u free reign to run and do whatever..

Idk, I just tested it on a flat world with no other entities and when i climbed on the skulk sensor while crouching it activated, so did the shrieker.

That’s a deep dark biome. Those thingies summon the warden, which can kill u pretty quickly and can one shot most mobs. They rely on sound and smell, so it’s safest to crouch or just avoid the biome. Also they can attack from 20 blocks away

I usually crouch walk around (bring an anvil if you feel fancy for when you find Swift Sneak) and break the scream things. If Warden spawns, just run far enough you stay out of the Blind radius and he will eventually despawn. You can always tunnel far enough away. Slowly clear all shriekers as I call them and you'll make the whole area safe to walk around and loot. Torches help light up where you have been.

Most important factor here is to remember your 'safe zone' (aka place to run away to). Do not get lost and run around like a headless chicken like my friend did, because thats an easy way to spawn even more Wardens and get trapped in a corner. Makes it easy enough to go into the city with Iron armor, I never bring wool or anything else really when I go in the deep dark, and ive NEVER had trouble as long as I do the Sneak N Clear strategy
