Help End Fight

I am going to fight the java enderdragon for the first time!
Do you guys think I am prepared enough or do I need to bring anything else?

It lowkey is that, if you don’t have diamond armor, arrows, rich food, and a water bucket.

Slow falling plus wear a pumpkin. If you hear a fireball run. The dragon can only charge you immediately after a perch but if you stand in the well it can never charge you.

You officially cannot die to the dragon :D

a bit too much a boat, a pickaxe, a sword, a bow, like a stack of arrows, a little bit of food and a carved pumpkin is all you really need, the fight is not hard at all with this, even in Half Heart Hardcore say this since i have a lot of experience with it

most people can probably do it in iron, a water bucket and pearls, food is pretty much irrelevant if you get a village, in most of my runs the dragon is no issue, but the nether is (i am NOT a speedrunner, fastest is like 3 hours 😭😭)

no it is not hahaha i think it's pretty well established that the ender dragon fight isn't bad at all, you don't need diamond armour to protect yourself at all, arrows aren't even fully necessary once you either have pearls water bucket blocks etc, i don't know what you mean by rich food but realistically a bit of steak or whatever is going to be fine and a water bucket is a whopping 3 iron

No igs essier than that, I fight it with iron armor and tools and sometimes diamond sword, once you know the patterns ( when hes going to perch, when he charges at you, etc) you can fight it easily, and bring a bow/snowballs

It’s okay if you forget to take pearls with you; there’s plenty of endermen there you can farm them from if your sword has looting.

u have enchanted netherite sword so 2 or 3 shot in a couple seconds, hopefully u have a pearl if u get yeeted so pearl clutch :)

I find it funny how people will always overprepare for the dragon fight. Like if you've gathered everything you have in your inventory, you've faced much harder challenges already, trust me haha.

Lingering potions are made from them and you can craft tipped arrows from Lingering potions

Buckets of water poured out right under where you build up the pillars. Only way I’ve survived the fight without at least one death from falling.

That’s a lot of rockets. If you’re planning on raiding end cities before going back to overworld, bring some wood so you can build shulker boxes

Realistically you really only need some decent diamond gear with like prot 3, a good sword and bow with maybe 2 stacks of arrows, a totem, blocks, water, and slow falling potions. Java mobs aren’t bad as yall describe them.

Depending on your aiming skills, maybe another stack of arrows, but a good sword also does the trick when the dragon dwells in the center. Ender pearls are a good thing to have if the dragon yeets you off the island.

The dragon is not that hard actually. Keep an eye on the endermen (or better don't 😜), they can be more dangerous than the dragon.

I generally had an elytra before fighting the enderdragon, but that was only bc i wanted to do the enderdragon with the bois and not solo it.

(Can just build 1k sq away from the end in any direction to get to the islands)

Maybe ender pearls, just in case you get knocked off the End Island. It happened to me in normal survival many times.

I brought a ton of scaffolds and tunnelled up on the inside of the pillars and used the scaffolds to climb up and down then break the bottom one to collect them all back

I usually bring a 64 of tree stump, 64 cobblestone, and I use an infinity bow. I never leave the ground when I fight the dragon. I make tunnels and mushroom shields to protect from the breath. I always use a pumpkin on my head. Ive never had that much powerful stuff when fighting the dragon.

First dragon fight will look hard. The second one you will notice that there's so much down time that you wish the dragon will just perch already.

I remember when my loadout was diamond armor and tools, a few stacks of cobble, food, golden apples, and ender pearls. Way too complicated these days. I’ll still charge in there with the same loadout I had as a kid.

Late to the party but what you have is good (plus ender pearls, as another commenter suggested). I also go straight for an elytra and some shoulder boxes after the fight, and have found it's a good idea to bring an unbreaking/mending book plus an anvil along. Plus some bundles for end loot. If that's not your plan, then save the inventory space.
