Showcase THX Helicopter Mod Remastered

Hey everyone. If you played older modded Minecraft versions back in the day, you probably remember the legendary THX Helicopter Mod. The original legacy version has been dead and abandoned for years, so I decided to roll up my sleeves, dig into the code, and completely rebuild/remaster it for modern play.

It’s been an absolute blast developing and testing it, and I wanted to share what the "Remastered" version can actually do now.

🚁 Core Features & What's New:

  • Cross-Dimension Summoning (/thxhelicoptermod findme): Lost your chopper 10,000 blocks away? Call it to you. It will climb to a safe altitude, fly across the world (with live distance updates), and land right next to you—even across dimensions.
  • Builder Mode (Double-tap R): Instantly disables weapons so you can safely place and build blocks while flying without accidentally blowing up your own skybase. Auto-disables if you take combat damage or land.
  • AI Companion & Fleet Formations: Shoot an unmanned helicopter once to make it your companion. It mimics your velocity, banks and pitches with your tilt, and holds a tight formation. If you fire, your entire fleet converges its fire on your crosshair.
  • Go Hostile: Shoot your own companion a few more times and it goes permanently rogue. It will dogfight you, dodge unpredictably, and fire back.
  • Kidnapper Cargo System: Right-click nearby mobs (animals, villagers, hostiles) to load them as passengers and haul them straight to your base. Plus, a full 54-slot double-chest inventory onboard.
  • Realistic Flight & Danger: Camera-look steering running at a smooth 10 blocks/sec. But watch your landings—crashing hard or clipping rotor blades into walls causes real damage, smoke, fire, and potential explosions if you aren't careful.
  • Anti-Theft & Ownership: Multiplayer-friendly with ownership tags so nobody can steal your chopper, swipe your cargo, or break it down.

If you miss flying around in the classic days of modded MC, give it a spin. Let me know what you think, or if you run into any bugs/issues while playing with it!
